
KIDS JIU-JITSU
Kids 6-12 Teens 12-15 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for Youth, is an age-appropriate program tailored to introducing kids to the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This program consists of several different sub-programs, which include fundamentals in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In addition, the program focuses on teaching your child the verbal and physical skills necessary to negotiate life where they are physically or verbally threatened by either a bully or a predator. Importantly, the Academy will provide your child with the adequate exertion that is lacking in the digital age. Our program will turn your shy child into a confident, outgoing, positive individual who will be able to stand up for themselves. The leverage-based techniques will teach your child to neutralize aggressive individuals, without inflicting or sustaining an unnecessary injury. Ultimately, your child will become part of the hard sought after solution to the challenges of life.
ADULT BJJ
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for Adults is a program to instruct teenagers and adult athletes in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This program consists of several different sub-programs, which include fundamentals, and beyond fundamentals, in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
An athlete's journey will commence with an in-depth study of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals, based on the curriculum developed by Roy Dean.
You may experience reluctance to start a class. This feeling is normal. You are taking the first step towards self-discovery and will be awarded self-improvement, discipline and focus. It will not be an easy journey, but you will not journey alone.
Beyond Fundamentals will expose advance BJJ-athletes to more complex movements and submission. At the core of this program is the development of a Game Plan, based on the BJJ-Game Theory, developed by Abrie Kilian.


KICKBOXING
The Kickboxing program introduces teenagers and adults to several kickboxing styles which include Muay Thai, American Kickboxing and Sanshou (Sanda).
This program consists of several different sub-programs, which include fundamentals, and beyond fundamentals, in the art of Muay Thai, American Kickboxing and Sanshou (Sanda). An athlete's journey will kick-off with basic movements, which include footwork, kicking, punching and take-downs.

ZUMBA®
Zumba® is a form of aerobic dance exercise similar to Jazzercise; its distinctive characteristic is its use of Latin American music and dance rhythms to create a party-like atmosphere in-class sessions.
Zumba® appeals to people's wish to enjoy themselves while exercising as well as lose weight and improve their overall fitness, flexibility, and endurance. The program's official slogan is “Ditch the Workout, Join the Party!” Some forms of Zumba involve resistance training intended to build strength while the more basic forms are lower impact and usually slower paced. Because there are a number of different types of Zumba classes aimed at different age groups and levels of fitness, people's motivations for participating vary.
This program will introduce participants to Zumba®, which includes both previous and latest play list.


STRONG Nation®
STRONG by Zumba® is a total-body workout where every move is synced to the beat. This program was designed to help you burn fat, build lean muscle, and tone your abs, legs and glutes.
You use your own bodyweight as resistance to achieve muscle definition. This session will push you past your limits to help you reach your fitness goals faster. you will gain muscular endurance, tone, and definition, and you will experience an increased after-burn.
Don’t let the words “by Zumba” fool you…this is no dance class! Led by Erin, our ACE Certified Personal Trainer, STRONG is a high-energy HIIT-style class specifically designed for exercisers looking for a more challenging workout. Don’t forget your water and a towel because you will sweat!
WRESTLING & GRAPPLING
The wrestling and grappling program introduce teenagers and adult athletes to the art of both Free Style Wrestling and 'No-Gi' Grappling. This program is in its infancy with several coaches at the Academy currently in the process of being accredited by the Ontario Amateur Wrestling Association (OAWA).
Amateur wrestling is a variant of wrestling practised in collegiate, school, or other amateur level competitions. There are two international wrestling styles performed in the Olympic Games: freestyle and Greco-Roman.
'No-Gi' Jiu-Jitsu is the ground-fighting martial art focused on joint locks, chokes, and positions. It is the science of using leverage, human body mechanics, balance, and technique to create favourable situations against a live opponent. It is the practical approach to the MMA ground game.
