SHALLOW LAKE - On Saturday the 20th of August 2022, Alec Wildeboer, 2021 and 2022 AJP Canada National Champion and athlete at Kilian Academy, showcased his skills to obtain his blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Alec Wildeboer, who commenced his training in July 2019, presented a beautiful demonstration to be awarded his blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The demonstration was recorded and produced in an athlete-focused mini-documentary about Alec and his journey. This is the first chapter of Alec's journey toward obtaining his black belt.

Associated Professor at the Academy, Professor Dave Dominy of Dominion Jiu-Jitsu, also attended the demo and shared his expertise with the Academy athletes, during the preceding seminar.

Kilian Academy subscribes to both the Roy Harris and Roy Dean approach to advance an athlete to the next level, through skill demonstration. Kilian Academy is Roy Dean Affiliated BJJ-Academy and Shogun Martial Arts Dojo in Owen Sound, Ontario.
