AND MUCH MORE!
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) for Youth, is an age-appropriate program tailored to introduce children to the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This program consists of several different sub-programs, which include fundamentals in the art of BJJ. BJJ strikes a beautiful balance between physical and mental development, also known as body chess.
Chess provides ample mental exercise to both the parts of the brain which aggravates thinking and memory. It is also said to improve concentration and focus. It is well known that students who had never before played chess improved their memories and verbal skills after playing and assist in the development of logic.
Etiquette training exposes children to the fundamentals of the proper way to conduct oneself in a variety of settings, which include but are not limited to, social interactions, dining interactions and general decorum.
Conflict management is the process of limiting the negative aspects of conflict while increasing the positive aspects of conflict. The aim of conflict management for children is to enhance learning and group outcomes, including effectiveness or performance in an organizational setting.
Anti-Bullying sessions focus on both the bully and the victims and educate children on how to verbally and physically defend themselves. The program seeks to restore and fortify children's self-respect and self-worth to navigate a world where a power imbalance exists.
